A Real Plan is Necessary
What the public needs to hear is the United States has a serious plan to address the illegal immigrant problem. This fence, which will be years in the making, if it ever becomes a reality, addresses only a small part of a huge problem. As we and others said before, this must be addressed as a three-prong problem: Stopping the influx of undocumented Hispanics, devising a plan to deal with those here illegally and cracking down on those who hire undocumented workers.
